Queensland

Welcome to the Sunshine State!

PRIME Training 09

CMDFA Queensland upholds that the three main functions of the fellowship are to:

  • Support each other in our medical and dental practices
  • Integrate our Christian faith and practice in authentic ways (e.g. mission and ethics)
  • Support students and recent graduates in the fields of medicine and dentistry as much as possible.

2009 was an exciting year for CMDFA Queensland, with Dr.Carolyn Russell becoming our State Chair.

We held a vision day at the Mater Hospital on August 31 of last year, in order to seek direction for our growing state.  At this meeting we were encouraged by one of the founders of CMDF in Queensland - Dr Frank Garlick and clarified the three aims above.

The medical and dental community in our state is growing as the state's population increases, and as Christians we desire to support and encourage each other towards love and integrity.
