Why join CMDFA?

To belong to a network of Christian doctors and dentists from around Australia, of all ages, stages and branches of professional life.

Our Aims:

To provide a Fellowship in which members may share and discuss their experiences as Christians in the profession of medicine and dentistry.
To encourage Christian doctors and dentists to serve and honour God in their professional practice
To present the claims of Christ to colleagues and others and to win their allegiance to Him.
To provide forums that consider how the Christian faith applies to the problems of national and local life as they relate to medicine and dentistry.
To foster interest in cross-cultural medical and dental mission.
To strengthen and encourage Christian medical and dental students in their faith.
To encourage members to play an active part in their local churches.
To provide pastoral support to colleagues.

Who can join?

Membership is open to medical and dental students and graduates, who follow Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.

Associate Membership is also available to Christian graduates in related disciplines.

IMPACT re-awoke my real passion to serve people through medicine, and connected me with amazing people who have walked this way before and aren't afraid to share and guide me. My prayers were answered, and I went back to the hospital knowing there's a wonderful journey ahead, a lot of work to be done, but an amazing body of Christ (of which I am a part) to do it.

The best part of my semester thus far!! I think I was in shock to realize that Christian doctors and dentists actually existed. Thanks so much - really awesome to learn some practical apsects of the practice of medicine from other Christians who are out in the workforce already. Wonderful conference!
