National Conferences
A national conference is held every one to two years, with different states taking turns to host. Our 2023 conference took place in Darwin, and in 2025, Brisbane will be the host city
With engaging keynote speakers and thought-provoking workshops, the conference offers both inspiration and challenge, all within a strong sense of fellowship.

State Events
Each state committee organises various events. Western Australia hosts coffee and dessert nights with guest speakers four times a year. Topics covered a range of discussions, from “The Good Steward”—managing your finances wisely to “How to Find Joy Amongst the Onions?”
New South Wales holds an annual dinner and supper events to support missionaries on leave. They also have a graduation ceremony for all healthcare students after their final year.
In South Australia and Victoria, you can enjoy picnic and BBQ events, along with regular gatherings featuring guest speakers.

Rural/Regional Events
Additionally, local events take place in various regions. Newcastle and Cooma hosts multiple events throughout the year, while the Southern Queensland/Northern New South Wales group holds potluck dinners. Rockhampton also runs events.
If you’re keen to organise a rural or regional gathering, we’d love to support you. Get in touch at office@cmdfa.org.au.
